Reframed Grad Exhibit

NSCAD Interdisciplinary Design 2023

Collaborating with Audrey Peters, together we designed the visual identity for the NSCAD Interdisciplinary Grad Show 2023. The graduate’s projects consisted of reframing problems to come up with new solutions, giving them a fresh perspective.

PROCESS

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

While this exhibition showcased one work per designer, it was also about showcasing their skills and abilities as interdisciplinary designers. For the visual identity, we decided to use visuals coming from one state to another to represent our growth as designers.

Audrey’s iconography symbolizes the abstract idea of progress over time, reflecting the ongoing growth of designers within their fields. My attention was on how this iconography and the layout of the poster are utilized.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Collaborating with the social media team, I developed motion graphics to attract viewers to the show. Emphasizing the theme of progression, I felt that dynamic motion graphics would be more effective than static images.
